Enrolment Information
At BCS every person is significant. We aim to develop the essential skills of literacy and numeracy and support every child to be safe, happy, connected and achieving. Our staff strive to develop professional excellence and knowledge of best practice, using data as evidence of growth over time, to ensure all our students achieve. We teach and support social and emotional wellness and ensure children have an active voice in their development.

Enrolment form
Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students.
Our school uses the Department of Education’s secure digital enrolment system called VicStudents. This means you can submit your Foundation (Prep) application online and receive updates through the system. If you have any questions about the online enrolment process, please contact our school.

To get started:
-
Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/, sign in with a Service Victoria account to complete the online application form by Friday, 31 July 2026. If you would prefer to submit a paper application form, please contact us at 51454391.
-
We will then review the information submitted and be in contact with you between Monday, 3 August and Friday, 14 August 2026 (for applications submitted by the due date of 31 July 2026).
-
You should accept one enrolment offer by Friday, 28 August 2026. When accepting an offer, you will be required to provide additional personal and health information that will be shared with the school.
Starting school is an exciting time for children, parents and carers. We want to help make the enrolment process as easy as possible for you. Each year, the department releases the Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents/Carers, with information packs available from the beginning of Term 2 for students commencing foundation/prep the following year. These information packs, and other important information, can be found on the Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) page of the Victorian Government website.

This handbook is designed to give you a sense of who we are, how we work, and what you can expect as part of our school community. We would love the opportunity to meet you in person, answer your questions, and show you around our school. Please don’t hesitate to reach out - whether it’s a quick question, a concern, or just a chat. We’re all in this together, and we look forward to working with each of you.
