Issue 16 - Gymkhana Success

The BCS Gymkhana team met with success at the interschool Gymkhana meet in Bairnsdale last week. We were represented by seven riders in different events and age groups. Congratulations to all riders and many thanks to the parents who attended on the day to support their children.

Three runners competed in the regional cross country in Drouin yesterday. Nate came 18th in his age group. Sadie ran 34th and Hamish came 44th. Great results from these determined kids. They should be proud of themselves as we are.

Grade 3/4 students head to Walhalla today as part of their history learning. Students were very excited as they boarded the bus. Thank you to the Farmer's Arms in Newry for donating their bus for the trip. We look forward to hearing about students' adventures in the old gold mining town.

Only three weeks left of term 2. Parents are reminded to book a three-way conference with the classroom teacher on Compass to discuss their child's learning.
